Human Resources (HR) is frequently lumped in with Finance, and that’s okay. The secret lies in realizing that these are separate job functions, with separate goals, even if the same resources are performing them. The key to HR is to remember that you set the tone in the Hiring process (HR03 – Recruiting Process) and that we have to continue to give our team proverbial “hugs” (as one of our clients coined it) with such processes as HR11 – Celebration Policy.
